Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball, Girls Varsity Volleyball · Lady Stars outmatched by Zionsville

The Lady Stars volleyball teams traveled to Zionsville to face the Eagles. The JV team started strong having their best match of the season. The Stars beat Zionsville 25-20 and 25-11. All of the players worked extremely hard during the match. Kiara Murdock and Katherine Aliff had several great blocks and kills. Saige Terwiske and Kayla Aliff led the team with kills, while Chloe Gillan led the team with digs and great serve receive passing. The varsity match didn’t turn out like the JV match with the team losing to the Eagles 11-25, 15-25, and 15-25. Kendal Ramey and Tori Wilkinson led the team with the most amount of kills with 6 a piece.  Marli Ransom was a great leader throughout the night, keeping her teammates energized throughout the match.

The Lady Stars will play at home on Thursday against Covenant Christian with the JV team starting at 5:00 pm.
