Boys Middle School Track, Girls Middle School Track · Star runners split with Sheridan

The junior high boy’s and girl’s track team hosted Sheridan Middle School last night. The boy’s took a loss to Sheridan 78-45. However, they had several PR’s for the night. The 4×800 relay team, consisting of Collin Washburn, Andre Gohler, Ross Eccles, and Graham Cavins, started them off with a PR time of 12:01.27. Kaden Bennington had a PR in the 100 Hurdles with a time of 20.47. Lane Hardee had another PR in the 1600m Run with a time of 5:49.32. Evan Koch come away with a PR in the Discus throwing 75’7″. Brandon Potter PR’d in the High Jump with a jump of 3′ 6″. Sherman Whiteside PR’d in the 400 Dash with a time of 1:14.57. Luke Adkins had a good run in the 800m Run last night with a time of 3:07.34 and the 4x400m Relay team, consisting of Sherman Whiteside, Collin Washburn, Kaden Bennington, and Lane Hardee rounded out the night with a PR time of 4:52.83.
The girl’s won against Sheridan 78-45. The 4×800 relay team consisting of Bailey Haag, Emma Mitchell, Hannah Haag, and Samantha Jones started out the night with a PR time of 12:21.83. We had three girl’s PR in the 100 Hurdles, Reagan Durbin with a time of 18.97, Micah Hole with a time of 22.13 and Kierra Koch with a time of 23.53. Audrey Dunn had an impressive PR time of 13.88 in the 100m Dash. Kennedy Kiger coming out with another PR in the Shot Put with a throw of 28′ 11″. Saige Terwiske PR’d in the Long Jump with a jump of 12′ 3 1/2″ and Hannah Haag ended the evening with a PR in the 2400m Run with a time of 10:49.97.
The boy’s and girl’s continue to amaze us with their hard work and determination. Our next meet will be on Monday at Danville at 4:45 pm. Come on out and cheer on your Webo Stars.
