Boys Middle School Swimming, Girls Middle School Swimming · Star swimmers finish 2nd and 3rd in 3-Team meet


Western Boone competed in a three way meet with Tecumseh and Clinton Central.  The girl’s team finished second and the boy’s team placed third.

Placing second in the 200 medley relay was the team of Rashel Anderson, Lilly Wilhite, Hannah Hayden, and KaLeigh Steimel.
Anderson placed first in the 100 yard freestyle and second in the 100 yard backstroke.  Wilhite placed sixth in the 100 yard individual medley and third in the 100 yard breaststroke. Hayden won the 50 yard freestyle and was second in the 50 yard butterfly with a best time. Steimel placed first in the 400 yard freestyle and second in the 100 yard individual medley, both best times for her.
The team of Wilhite, Micah Hole, Linzy Stow, and Nevaeh Gallimore placed second in the 200 yard freestyle relay.
Hole was fourth in the 100 yard breaststroke.  Stow placed fourth in the 200 yard freestyle. Gallimore had two best times on the night, placing third in the 50 yard freestyle and fourth in the 50 yard butterfly.
Steimel, Stow, Anderson, and Hayden placed second in the 400 yard freestyle relay. Brooklyn Schiery placed fifth in the 200 yard freestyle and fourth in the 100 yard freestyle.  Bella Marsh placed fifth with a best time in the 400 yard freestyle. Annabelle Mickschl swam fourth in the 100 yard backstroke.
The boys team of Thomas Haram, Zane Allen, Carson Griggs, and Isaac Garringer placed third in the boys 200 yard medley relay.  Haram placed fifth in the 200 yard freestyle and forth in the 100 yard freestyle. Allen was third in both the 200 yard freestyle and 100 yard breaststroke. Griggs won the 50 yard butterfly and had a best time in the 100 yard individual medley, finishing fourth. Garringer placed fourth in the 100 yard backstroke.
The Stars will host Southmont Thursday at 6 pm for our last regular season meet where we will recognize our 8th graders on the team.
