Boys Junior Varsity Football · Slow start doesn’t phase Stars as they defeat Harrison

The JV football team traveled to Lafayette to take on the Harrison Raiders. The Stars started off slow as they went into halftime trailing the Raiders 6-0. The Stars offense came to life in the second half as they scored on three separate occasions. Connor Garrity started the scoring in the second half with a long catch and run. Robby Taylor added another touchdown later on in the second half to make it 12-6. Casey Baird sealed the game with a late score to make the final score 18-6. Caleb Irion was a ball hawk on the defensive side of the ball with two interceptions.

The Stars will be back in action Saturday as they host the Crawfordsville Athenians starting at 10 am.
