Boys Varsity Baseball · Stars fall short to the Warriors

The Western Boone varsity baseball team traveled to Danville Tuesday night to take on the Warriors. The Stars look to bounce back after a tough 6-5 loss on Monday against the Warriors. Both teams were strong on the pitcher’s mound on Tuesday, but Danville was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over the Stars. Nick Shipman started the game for Webo as he recorded 18 outs. Shipman took the loss for the Stars. He allowed eight hits and three runs over six innings, striking out three. The Stars tallied six hits. Felix Martinez and John Bromberek each racked up two hits for the Stars.

Western Boone will be back in action on Friday against Sagamore Conference opponent North Montgomery starting at 6 pm.
