Boys 7th Grade Baseball · Stars’ early start enough to defeat the Tigers

The 6th/7th grade baseball team won their fourth win in a row and improve to 7-2 on the season. A beautiful Tuesday night brought the Lebanon Tigers to our house to play an exciting ball game.
Starting pitcher, Eli McClaine, held the Tigers in check and the Stars led 9-1 after two innings. Lebanon’s bats came alive in the top of the third to close the gap to 9-6.  Lefty, Andrew Foster came in to pitch and shut the Tigers down preserving the victory. Foster threw 2 1/3 scoreless and hitless innings.
Zayne Sturgis,  Andrew Foster, and Eli McClaine each had a hit for the Stars.
The team will head to Southmont on Thursday starting at 6 pm.
