Boys Junior Varsity Basketball · Stars end season by defeating the Gophers


The boy’s jv basketball team traveled to Clinton Prairie to take on the Gophers in the last game of the season. The Stars look to finish the season on a 3 game winning streak. The Stars played their best game on the offensive end, executing at a high level. It was a back and forth game until Caleb Freeman made 2 free throws with .6 seconds to put the Stars up 51-47. The Stars defeated the Gophers 51-49 to end their season at an equal 10-10 record. There were 3 Stars in double figures with Jake Jones leading the way with 13 points, while Caleb Freeman added 12 and Luke Kernodle added 10.
