The 6th grade boy’s basketball teams were in action Tuesday night as they took on the Lebanon Tigers. The A team had a nice win beating the Tigers 33-26, giving them a record of 3-1. All the boys played hard and worked together. Cannon Brunes was the leading scorer with 15 points, followed by Josiah Kallevig with 6pts, and Jackson Grimes with 5pts. Also contributing on the defensive side was Bryce Kopriva getting 5 steals.
The B team had their first loss of the season losing 21-17, giving them a record of 3-1. The first half was a little rough for the Stars, only scoring 2 points by halftime. They made a great attempt to make a comeback but just fell a little short. Carter Hanna was the leading scorer with 6 points, followed by Graham Cavins with 4 points.
The Stars will travel to Frankfort Middle School on Thursday to take on the Hotdogs at 6pm.
