Multiple Teams · Alumni Spotlight- CJ McMann

In this edition of the Webo Alumni Spotlight we catch up with CJ McMann, Class of 2013. CJ is currently in his senior year at Wabash College. CJ has been a letter winner for four years in football and basketball at Wabash College. This past season, CJ was an NCAC all-conference defensive back for the Little Giants. He has started in 8 games this year for the basketball team. While at Webo he earned 10 varsity letters and was 1st team all-conference in basketball and football. McMann is the all time Webo leader in pass completions and passing percentage.

What are your plans for next year?

• Work in the family business at Models, LLC.

What is your fondest memory of your time at Webo?

• Beating Lebanon in sectionals my junior year in basketball and Friday night lights.


What was your best day at Webo?

• Wearing jerseys on Friday’s.

What are some lessons you learned at Webo that have served you well?

• Time management and hard work.


What advice do you have for future Webo Stars?

• Work hard so you can set yourself up for life after high school. High school is great but there is so much more to life after.


Were there any teachers or coaches who had a big impact on you? What did you learn from them?

• Yes, so many of them were extremely helpful throughout my time there. I learned a lot about leadership, hard work, and respect for others.
