Boy’s Tennis Earns First Conference Win

The Western Boone Boys tennis team picked up their first conference win at Frankfort Tuesday evening. The Stars earned a 4-1 win with straight set wins from 1S Ethan Dobbs, 2S Quentin Hicks, 1D John Bromberek/Dylan Hamerin, and 2D Chase Lee/Aidan Smith. The Stars are back in action Thursday when they host the Lebanon Tigers.

Boy’s Tennis Dropped By Plainfield

The Western Boone boys tennis team dropped a tough match to the Plainfield Quakers 0-5 Monday evening. The Stars had opportunities, getting ahead in all 3 singles spots. The Quakers rallied and then pulled away with straight set wins at all 5 spots. The Stars return to conference action Tuesday when they travel to Frankfort.
