The Western Boone track team traveled to Danville on Tuesday evening for its second outdoor meet of the season.  The highlight of the meet was Alexis Goglia setting a school record in the girls 1600m. Running with confidence and determination, Goglia ran near-even splits for each lap to earn a 22-second personal best and a new school record.  Her time of 5:37.3 broke the oldest girls track record on the books.  The previous record of 5:39.0 was set in 1983 by Terrill Reed (Wilkinson).  Goglia now holds school records in the 1600m and 5K cross country.
